Tendering and Contracting Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Tendering and Contracting Engineer to join our team in Sheikh Zayed, Giza. The role involves studying project pricing, preparing technical offers and ensuring contracts meet legal and company standards. You will work closely with project managers, legal teams and other stakeholders to drive successful tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Study project pricing and prepare technical offers.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments for new contracts and propose mitigation solutions.
• Manage the full tender process including RFQ, negotiation, evaluation of financial and technical offers.
• Draft, review and finalize contracts, ensuring clear and legally sound terms.
• Negotiate contract terms with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation.
• Prepare reports on contract status and highlight issues or concerns.
• Support project management teams to ensure proper contract execution and milestone achievement.
• Review invoices from contractors and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in tendering, contracting and procurement processes.
• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in construction (industrial or residential) is mandatory.
• Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
