Test Engineer – Digital, IoT & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Test Engineer to support strategic growth areas across Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation. You will design, execute and refine software testing activities to ensure product reliability and efficiency while contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering efforts from planning to delivery, addressing technical challenges in testing and tooling.
• Review customer requirements and translate them into structured testing activities.
• Develop, design, review, and update test cases aligned with customer expectations.
• Create, modify, and execute test plans for software validation at system and user levels.
• Prepare and construct test datasets to support execution activities.
• Execute software tests and record results accurately.
• Document defects, monitor progress, and retest once resolved.
• Execute regression test suites as required.
• Participate in testing initiatives and specialised domains to enhance capability and knowledge.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, methods and procedures.
• Experience with app and web‑based technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (mandatory).

Required skills

• HP ALM, Jira, VSTS (Azure) test management tools.
• Manual and exploratory testing.
• Automation testing using Java, Appium and Selenium.
• Basic knowledge of Rest Assured, Swift, Kotlin, Angular (advantageous).
• Functional and UI testing across mobile, tablet and desktop environments.
• Understanding of Agile testing practices.
