Training Specialist – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Training Specialist to drive employee development and operational excellence for a leading restaurant chain in Egypt. The role will support both restaurant and corporate functions, ensuring staff have the skills needed to deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training and development needs across restaurant operations and head‑office departments.
• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for operational and corporate employees.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Create training materials, manuals, presentations, and e‑learning content.
• Facilitate sessions for Branch Managers, Supervisors, Chefs & Kitchen Staff, Service Crew, and corporate employees.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and recommend development plans.
• Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Track training KPIs and prepare regular training reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, or Talent Development.
• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or multi‑branch operations is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication abilities.
• Experience developing training materials and learning programs.
• Knowledge of training evaluation methods and adult learning principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
