Transportation & Fleet Manager – Construction Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Transportation & Fleet Manager to lead all transportation and fleet activities across our construction projects. The role ensures safe, efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and materials while controlling costs and maintaining compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise transportation and fleet operations for multiple projects.
• Allocate vehicles daily, optimize routes and monitor fleet utilization.
• Track fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and operating costs.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all vehicles and equipment.
• Lead drivers, transportation coordinators and fleet staff, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage vehicle licensing, insurance, inspections and related documentation.
• Coordinate transportation needs with project managers and other departments.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, costs, KPIs and improvement initiatives.
• Investigate incidents, propose corrective actions and identify efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of transportation and fleet management experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
