Vice President - Finance

About the role

Our client, a large Egyptian conglomerate, is seeking a Vice President – Finance to lead the finance function and support the organisation’s strategic growth agenda. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the VP Finance will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, treasury, budgeting, compliance and governance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the entire group.
• Manage treasury activities, cash flow, and capital allocation decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain robust financial controls and risk‑management frameworks.
• Partner with senior executives to provide financial insight for strategic decision‑making.
• Lead and develop a large finance team, fostering high performance and operational efficiency.
• Drive performance management, business planning and identification of cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles such as VP Finance or Finance Director.
• Proven track record of leading large finance teams in complex, diversified organisations.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, compliance and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with executive leadership on strategic business decisions.
• Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
