Warehouse Technician (Storekeeper)

About the role

The Warehouse Technician (Storekeeper) ensures the smooth flow of materials from reception to the production line while maintaining safety, quality, and organization standards. Working under the Logistics Manager, you will handle incoming shipments, store items correctly, and support line delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive trucks, guide them to the reception area, and hand over documentation to the Logistics Manager.
• Unload containers, de‑consolidate shipments, and verify package counts against delivery documents.
• Inspect packaging condition and report any incidents.
• Store materials in designated locations (BL8, BL3, external) as instructed.
• Collect materials from the preparation list and deliver them to the production line using appropriate methods.
• Return unused or excess items to the warehouse and report shortages.
• Maintain pallet stackers and chargers, reporting any issues.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and comply with EHS standards.

Required profile

• Intermediate level training cycle or equivalent education.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the rolling stock industry.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Willingness to be trained on forklift and pallet stacker operation.
