About the role

SKILLS British School is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Homeroom Teacher to join its on‑site primary team in Giza. This full‑time position involves delivering the British curriculum to Year 3 learners and fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons across core subjects for Year 3.
• Manage classroom behaviour, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of achievement, attendance, and behaviour.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, school initiatives, and professional development activities.
• Support students’ social and emotional well‑being and promote a safe, respectful school culture.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s in Education) and recognized teaching credential.
• Experience delivering the British curriculum at primary level.
• Strong classroom‑management skills and ability to create inclusive, student‑centred learning environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in primary education.

Required skills
