Account Executive – Mid‑Market & SMB SaaS Sales

About the role

Tax Star, the UAE’s first AI‑powered tax calculator, is looking for an Account Executive to accelerate new‑business growth. You will target mid‑market and SMB clients, driving the adoption of our AI‑enabled corporate tax and e‑invoicing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle – prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate and close deals.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Partner with marketing to refine lead‑generation and outbound strategies.
• Collaborate with customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and high client retention.
• Provide structured feedback to product and leadership to shape the roadmap.
• Represent Tax Star at industry events, webinars and networking sessions.
• Mentor junior SDRs or sales associates as the team expands.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Consistent record of exceeding quotas and closing deals.
• Strong consultative and solution‑selling approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic a plus).
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a fast‑paced startup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred).
