Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between Kijamii and its clients, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on project execution and may involve mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing day‑to‑day communication and expectations.
• Oversee projects from briefing through delivery, controlling timelines, budgets, production, and reporting.
• Develop clear client briefs that translate marketing objectives into actionable plans for internal teams.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations with strategic and creative clarity.
• Coordinate social and digital content delivery, ensuring adherence to calendars and brand guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, accountability, and value creation.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities in collaboration with senior management.
• Partner with strategy, creative, and media teams to deliver integrated campaigns and proactive recommendations.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing all deliverables before client submission.
• Mentor Account Executives and Senior Account Executives, providing guidance and development opportunities.
• Handle conflict resolution and problem‑solving to ensure smooth collaboration and client satisfaction.
• Report on account financials according to agency processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in account management or client servicing within an advertising or marketing agency.
• Proven ability to manage medium‑to‑large accounts and deliver integrated campaigns.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on trust and value creation.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
