Accountant – Accounting to Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our global finance team. You will ensure that all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and support the month‑end closing process, delivering timely group reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions in relevant systems in line with group policies.
• Prepare and submit monthly group reports and financial statements.
• Execute month‑end closing activities and meet deadlines.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis each month.
• Identify trends, flag deviations and raise yellow/red alerts as needed.
• Support business controllers, local entities and holdings with accounting advice and statutory reporting.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to internal departments according to SLAs.
• Assist auditors by supplying required documentation.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports for management and business controllers.
• Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline finance processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm or financial reporting.
• Analytical, proactive, solution‑oriented and deadline‑driven.
• Strong communication skills, organized and systematic.
• Team player with a willingness to learn.
• Fluent English; additional language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a strong advantage.
