Accountant – Full Time (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Mansheya, Alexandria. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, supporting month‑end and year‑end closings, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and regular accounting reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Follow up on customer balances and collections.
• Assist in monthly and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare invoices and review supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with other departments on financial matters and maintain proper filing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Preferably experience in Oil & Gas, Engineering or Contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Excellent command of English and ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
