Accountant Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant Supervisor to lead the full financial and regulatory process for the establishment and operation of our new plant in Egypt. The role will ensure smooth company registration, licensing, tax compliance and daily bookkeeping while supporting the headquarters with fund management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage company registration, licensing applications and coordination with local agents.
• Oversee daily finance and bookkeeping activities, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Ensure tax compliance, prepare and file tax returns in accordance with Egyptian regulations.
• Handle fund management, banking affairs and support bank account opening processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting or finance; experience in auditing, Egypt‑specific finance, plant setup or licensing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax, commercial and labor compliance.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Chinese language is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with local authorities and agents, and ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with finance software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Word.
