Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance function at O West Sports Club. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting operations, drive financial planning and analysis, and act as a strategic partner to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the accounting team, ensuring performance and development.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and general ledger activities.
• Ensure accurate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Direct Financial Planning & Analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets and financial forecasts to support decision‑making.
• Maintain compliance with local tax regulations and legal requirements.
• Establish and enforce internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA, CMA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2‑3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP or other accounting systems.
