Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across the organization. This senior position requires overseeing a team of accountants, coordinating with finance directors, and driving continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and review the work of accounting staff and department heads, including bank reconciliations, fixed‑asset activity, debt activity, and classification and analysis of revenue and expenses.
• Review and verify a variety of documents for the financial services division, such as reports, letters, agendas, and authorizations; approve accounting entries and transactions.
• Develop and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Resolve complex accounting issues.
• Collaborate with group finance directors on monthly financial figures for top management and manage pre‑closing and closing requirements.
• Prepare financial statements for audit, maintaining continuous review and updates until sign‑off.
• Supervise financial statements and reports for affiliate entities, ensuring consistency with group consolidated statements and compliance with financial standards.
• Participate in monthly performance meetings to support management objectives and ensure finance team alignment.
• Assist the budgeting and reporting head in preparing the company’s business plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
• CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent command of English.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
