Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting department at Happy Vision, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective team supervision. This full‑time, on‑site position requires strong analytical abilities and a detail‑oriented mindset to support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes and meet all reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review and approve journal entries.
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts and monitor variances.
• Ensure internal controls, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing and collections.
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships and treasury operations.
• Administer accounting systems and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• In‑depth understanding of GAAP.
• In‑depth understanding of IFRS.
