Accounting Manager

About the role

Sun Egypt Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its accounting department and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of daily accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor the accounting team to maintain efficient daily financial processes.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles, guaranteeing timely reporting.
• Manage balance‑sheet preparation, cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and financial risk assessment.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax laws, statutory deductions, local regulations and auditing standards.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies and streamlined financial workflows.
• Collaborate with executive management to provide actionable financial insights for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance); professional certifications such as CMA or CPA are a strong plus.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant or Supervisor, preferably in contracting, commercial or technical sectors.
• Deep knowledge of financial auditing, Egyptian tax legislation and statutory deductions.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Financial modeling and cash‑flow forecasting.
