Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate posting of payable and receivable entries, timely month‑end close, and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. This role works closely with finance, tax, and audit teams to maintain robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post all payable and receivable entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Run depreciation, deferred revenue, and fixed‑asset accounting entries, including additions, disposals, and related controls.
• Execute periodic currency revaluation, prepare adjusting entries, and generate related reports for management, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Manage inter‑company reconciliations.
• Supervise month‑end closing activities: journal review, account analysis, schedule preparation, and coordination with other departments.
• Participate in tax inspection processes.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors, providing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Review customer balances, conduct reconciliations, and release GL accounts according to internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close.
• Familiarity with tax inspection procedures and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance, tax, and operational teams.
