Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will manage the end‑to‑end receivables process for a retail and fashion business, ensuring accurate recording of sales, cash handling and customer invoicing. This role works closely with store managers, operations and finance teams to maintain financial integrity and support month‑end and year‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Post daily POS‑to‑ERP sales transactions to guarantee timely and accurate retail recording.
• Reconcile cash and card payments across all stores, quickly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Track store cash deposits, ensuring proper recording, monitoring and reporting.
• Manage customer accounts, including invoicing, collections and resolution of account‑related issues.
• Handle loyalty program accounting, ensuring correct recognition of points, rewards and related transactions.
• Assist with monthly and year‑end closing activities by preparing AR reports.
• Support audits and compliance requirements specific to the retail and fashion industry.
• Collaborate with store managers, operations and finance teams to improve AR processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within retail or fashion.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
