Accounts Receivable Team Lead

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee A/R and credit operations across all Holcim Egypt entities, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end processes in partnership with commercial teams. This role is responsible for accurate invoicing, payment collection, and compliance with revenue recognition standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the customer invoicing process, ensuring timely and error‑free billing.
• Design and maintain SOPs, process flows and SLAs for the Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) stream.
• Manage credit limits, credit assessments and coordinate credit committees in line with Lafarge Credit Policy.
• Monitor aging reports, DSO metrics and provide regular reporting to the Country Controller and CCFO.
• Coordinate with Commercial, FP&A, Treasury and Tax teams for accurate forecasting of AR and revenue balances.
• Oversee write‑offs/write‑ins, scrap sales, rebates, provisions and other irregular treatments.
• Ensure proper submission of invoices and e‑invoices through tax portals and perform reconciliations.
• Lead collection activities, communicate with top customers and prepare KPI reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing accounts receivable and credit functions in a large industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes, invoicing standards and revenue recognition.
• Ability to design and implement SOPs, process flows and service level agreements.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring aging, DSO and forecasting AR balances.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with commercial, finance and tax teams.
