AI/ML Software Engineer

About the role

Siemens EDA is seeking an AI/ML Software Engineer to join its Technology & Innovation team in Cairo. You will design, develop, and deploy intelligent solutions that combine modern web technologies with cutting‑edge machine‑learning models, supporting customers across the electronic design automation ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and launch web applications and services for both front‑end and back‑end layers using Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Build prototypes and products in Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
• Collaborate with partners and customers to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Own feature development from concept through code review, acceptance testing and release.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens engineering processes, quality standards and documentation guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience developing web applications in diverse industry contexts.
• Strong understanding of data structures, software architecture and design principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Front‑end frameworks: ReactJS, Angular (optional).
• Cloud and IoT platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix.
• Machine‑learning libraries: Keras, PyTorch, scikit‑learn.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
