Alterations Engineer

About the role

The Alterations Engineer is responsible for managing technical inquiries and alteration requests from customers, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting continuous improvement across projects. The role combines customer liaison, technical assessment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customers' alteration requests by contacting them and following up on each case.
• Study requested modifications and coordinate feedback with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Review case status before processing insurance refunds with the CM team.
• Respond promptly to technical requirements, inquiries, and complaints according to company policies.
• Provide professional and timely explanations for all technical complaints.
• Communicate approved alterations to the community team for work permission issuance.
• Record case status, feedback, and correspondence in SAP for accurate documentation.
• Proactively address issues to minimise disruptions and delays.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify that completed work aligns with company regulations and approved alterations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• SAP for case documentation and tracking.
