About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a dedicated American Diploma English Teacher to deliver high‑quality English instruction aligned with the American Diploma curriculum. The role focuses on fostering academic achievement and personal growth for high‑school students in a supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet American Diploma standards.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials catering to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom that encourages participation and academic excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum delivery and development initiatives.
• Communicate student progress and areas for improvement to parents.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with teaching methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification and experience with the American Diploma curriculum.
• Strong command of English language and literature.
• Experience teaching high‑school students (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current educational best practices and innovative strategies.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.
