Anesthesia Resident (Full‑time Training)

About the role

The High Committee of Medical Specialties, Egyptian Fellowship offers a full‑time, on‑site Anesthesia Resident position in Al Mansoura. This training role provides comprehensive peri‑operative anesthesia care under supervision, preparing physicians for independent practice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans.
• Manage intra‑operative anesthesia, airway, vascular access, and regional blocks.
• Provide postoperative pain control and participate in emergency anesthesia coverage.
• Document clinical activities and adhere to patient safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Engage in on‑call duties, case discussions, journal clubs, and teaching sessions.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) and eligibility for residency training in Egypt.
• Valid medical license or registration in Egypt, in good standing.
• Strong foundation in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care.
• Ability to work in high‑pressure environments such as operating rooms and ICUs.
• Commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
