Application Engineer

About the role

The Application Engineer will support the sales organization by preparing accurate, commercially sound quotations and technical proposals for engineered pump solutions. This role bridges the gap between customer requirements and ITT's product portfolio, ensuring that specifications are met and orders are processed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercially sound quotations and proposals for engineered pump solutions.
• Review technical specifications and select appropriate pumps using internal selection tools.
• Respond promptly to customer technical inquiries and provide clarifications.
• Enter and manage clean orders across all factories, including pumps, parts, valves, services, and returned material.
• Expedite data, information, and orders with manufacturing sites and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs) for major accessories such as drivers, mechanical seals, couplings, and other components.

Required profile

• Technical background in engineered pump systems or related mechanical engineering field.
• Ability to interpret and analyze contract specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and quotation preparation.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers, sales teams, and factory personnel.
