Application Specialist – Healthcare IT (Remote)

About the role

The Application Specialist provides first- and second‑line remote support for healthcare and imaging applications, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement. The role works closely with customers to resolve technical issues while adhering to strict service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑line technical support for healthcare IT and imaging systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and integration problems.
• Manage support tickets and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor system performance and server health to maintain operational stability.
• Perform front‑end and back‑end configuration and service troubleshooting.
• Support software installations, upgrades, patches, and deployments.
• Assist end‑users and document technical issues, root causes, and solutions.
• Prepare regular reports on support activities and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical work with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in application or technical support, preferably in healthcare IT.
• Experience with healthcare or dental IT systems is highly preferred.
• Residence near Heliopolis.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
