Architecture Technical Office Engineer – Sheikh Zayed

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid and focuses on the preparation, review and coordination of architectural shop drawings. The engineer will support cost control activities by preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conducting quantity take‑offs while working closely with project and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate architectural shop drawings to ensure compliance with design standards, project specifications and site conditions.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQ and perform quantity take‑offs for accurate cost estimation.
• Collaborate daily with civil and electrical engineers to resolve technical issues and update documentation.
• Maintain technical office outputs that meet project timelines and quality requirements.
• Communicate regularly with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in technical office roles within construction or fit‑out projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.
