Assistant Delivery Manager – Traffic & Resource Management

About the role

The Assistant Delivery Manager is the day‑to‑day control centre of agency delivery, turning approved plans into clear actions and ensuring briefs, tasks, timelines and resource bookings are accurate and moving. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will connect teams, monitor progress and surface risks before they affect delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery portions of daily department calls, identify blockers, missing submissions and resource conflicts.
• Create, assign and maintain tasks in Productive with accurate owners, dates, budgets, dependencies and scope fields.
• Track project timeplans, implement resource bookings, maintain capacity views and raise allocation conflicts.
• Follow up with team members throughout the day, confirm brief understanding, verify submissions and attend all relevant internal project calls.
• Produce daily capacity, workload and risk updates, and provide concise portfolio health reports to the Delivery Manager.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in traffic, resource coordination or project delivery within an agency environment.
• Strong organisational ability, attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to document commitments and escalate issues with evidence.
• Basic understanding of project estimates, budgeted hours and the link between resource planning and profitability.
