About the role
The Assistant Director of Sales will lead the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at the GCC market for a growing chain of hotels in Egypt. Based on‑site, the role focuses on driving group, corporate and leisure business from GCC countries, while supporting overall revenue and occupancy goals.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement sales plans targeting GCC travel partners, corporate clients and agencies.
- Manage key accounts, negotiate rates and contracts, and close new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to adjust tactics.
- Produce regular performance reports, forecasts and occupancy analyses.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management and hotel operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Travel within Egypt and to GCC countries for client visits, trade shows and promotional events.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation with proven ability to build long‑term relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Arabic and/or English is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated sales experience in hospitality or related sectors, including account management and negotiation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Required skills
- Familiarity with sales CRM tools.
- Knowledge of hotel PMS/CRS systems.
- Basic data analysis for forecasting and reporting.
