Assistant Financial Controller

About the role

InstaShop, the leading online marketplace in the UAE and Egypt, is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to support financial reporting, accounting, and compliance across all regions. You will work closely with senior finance leaders to ensure accurate financial statements and smooth audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements in line with GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Coordinate internal controls, external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, due‑diligence and integration activities.
• Oversee payroll accounting across regions and reconcile HR reports with bank records in the ERP system.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, regulators and financial institutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, closing and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and time zones.
