Assistant Guest Relation Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, customer‑focused Assistant Guest Relation Manager to support the Guest Relation Manager in delivering exceptional service at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh. You will help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable stay while contributing to the overall efficiency of our front‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of service for arrivals, departures, rooming and special requests.
• Assist in optimizing occupancy and room rates to maximize revenue.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Guest Relation Manager in running a productive guest services department.
• Participate in training programs for the Guest Service team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for guest services.
• Monitor and improve systems and procedures for operational efficiency.
• Assist with reservations and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
• Promote hotel services and special offers to contribute to sales.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in guest services or hospitality, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, reception, cashiering and reservations.
• Excellent customer‑service focus and leadership abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and complaint‑handling skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with upselling capability.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in hospitality.
• Familiarity with local attractions is a plus.
