Assistant HR Manager – Fast-Moving Consumer Goods

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced Assistant HR Manager to support the HR Manager in delivering HR strategies and handling day‑to‑day HR operations across its fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing HR strategies, policies, procedures and annual operational plans.
• Oversee workforce planning, monitor recruitment activities and ensure vacancies are filled on schedule.
• Track recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire and quality of hire.
• Participate in interviews for key positions and manage onboarding processes.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary investigations and workplace issues.
• Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and support performance‑improvement plans.
• Identify training needs and organise internal and external development programmes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave management and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and performance data.
• Support HR systems implementation, automation, organisational restructuring and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian labour laws, internal policies, inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in fast‑food, restaurant, hospitality or food‑service environments.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labour law and HR best practices.
• Previous experience supervising an HR team or managing multiple HR functions.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑location operational setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HR information systems.
