Assistant Manager, Commercial Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Commercial Development will support Nestlé Professional’s commercial growth agenda by turning customer, operator, channel and category insights into actionable initiatives that drive execution and sustainable, profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual commercial plans and channel growth initiatives across food‑service and out‑of‑home channels.
• Track actions, milestones, risks and business impact, and identify improvement opportunities through performance analysis.
• Analyze hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, catering, workplace and institutional channels to support segmentation, targeting and channel‑specific activations.
• Monitor penetration, distribution and execution opportunities, and convert market trends into actionable recommendations.
• Assist with coffee, beverage, culinary, bakery and dessert solution development and operator‑focused programs.
• Support commercial tools, dashboards and reporting routines, tracking execution KPIs and route‑to‑market initiatives.
• Provide pricing, mix, trade‑investment and profitability analysis, evaluate promotion ROI and prepare commercial reviews.
• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery with Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply Chain and Technical Services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
• 0‑2 years of experience in sales, trade marketing, category development, commercial development, business development, food‑service or out‑of‑home channels.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting and cross‑functional project coordination.
• Understanding of route‑to‑market, distributors, pricing, trade investment and customer profitability is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, presentation, planning, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
