Assistant Manager – Design (Real Estate)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Design will support the Architectural Design Manager in delivering high‑quality architectural solutions across all project phases. This role ensures designs meet approved standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives while maintaining consistency and constructability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare scopes of work for design packages and assist in the design tendering process.
• Monitor project KPIs and track design progress against development plans.
• Support design development from concept through construction under the Design Manager’s supervision.
• Coordinate and follow‑up with design consultants, ensuring compliance with Egyptian codes and authority requirements.
• Work closely with MEP, structural, and internal stakeholders to integrate designs effectively.
• Maintain design quality, functionality, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Follow up on design‑related matters during construction and assist in contractor coordination.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of experience in architectural design review and coordination; design management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred; PMP certification is an advantage.
• Proven ability to coordinate with international and local consultants and key stakeholders.
• Experience preparing scopes of work and managing design processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong architectural design coordination and review capabilities.
