Associate Director, Project Management

About the role

Decima International is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management to lead multiple data‑center engineering and construction projects for a top technology client. This client‑facing position requires overseeing the full project lifecycle, from scope definition through delivery, while driving team performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee scope, planning, budgeting, execution, resource allocation and project close‑out.
• Prepare, review and manage RFIs, RFPs and submittals to secure competitive bids.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct daily follow‑ups with project managers to monitor progress and address issues.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations and permits.
• Oversee BIM coordination and integration of BIM data across project teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of project managers, tracking KPIs and career plans.
• Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in construction project management, primarily in the United States.
• Fluency in English and strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading teams of project managers.
