Associate Scientist, Formulation Development / R&D Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Scientist to join our Formulation Development and R&D pharmacy team. The role focuses on developing new pharmaceutical formulations, supporting scale‑up, and ensuring smooth technology transfer while adhering to GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature surveys and perform pre‑formulation and formulation trials for new products.
• Document and report all trial observations and results following established procedures.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment in compliance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Prepare samples for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Execute pilot, scale‑up and validation batches and generate the necessary documentation.
• Follow occupational safety and waste management procedures.
• Support any additional tasks related to product development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of “Very good” or “Excellent”.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• 0‑1 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation or related field.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of GMP standards.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to conduct stability testing and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Competence in pre‑formulation and formulation trial design.
