Associate Scientist, Formulation Development / R&D Pharmacist

About the role

The Associate Scientist will support product development by conducting formulation research, scale‑up and technology transfer activities within Hikma’s R&D laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature surveys and perform pre‑formulation and formulation trials for new products.
• Document and report all trial observations and results according to predefined procedures.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment in compliance with SOPs and GMP standards.
• Prepare samples for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Execute pilot, scale‑up and validation batches and generate the required documentation.
• Follow occupational safety and waste management procedures.
• Perform any other tasks related to the job description as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
