About the role

Marhaba DMC & MICE is seeking a proactive Travel Consultant to join its Cairo office. The role focuses on handling B2B travel requests, negotiating with hotels and transport providers, and delivering competitive offers to travel agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process travel requests from B2B clients (travel agencies).
• Obtain rates directly from hotels and transportation suppliers.
• Prepare and submit competitive offers to agencies.
• Negotiate prices, follow up on offers, and finalize bookings.
• Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to confirmation.
• Handle booking confirmations and operational follow‑ups.
• Maintain strong relationships with hotels and suppliers to secure the best deals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or operations within the travel and tourism industry.
• Experience in hotel bookings, transportation coordination, and travel package preparation.
• Strong knowledge of tourist destinations and hotels, especially in Istanbul, Bursa, Antalya, and Trabzon.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and follow‑up abilities.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• A university degree or diploma in tourism or a related field is preferred.
