Atlassian Engineer – Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking Associates and Senior Associates Atlassian Engineers to join our growing team. Based in Cairo, you will design, implement and support Atlassian Cloud and Data Center solutions, with a strong focus on Jira Service Management, Confluence and ITSM implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Atlassian Cloud and Data Center solutions, emphasizing Jira Service Management use cases.
• Lead ITSM implementations in JSM, covering incident, problem, change, request and asset management.
• Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows and Confluence spaces, templates and permissions.
• Implement and maintain Assets/Insight (CMDB) configurations and integrations.
• Develop automations, scripts and API‑based integrations with third‑party systems.
• Perform large‑scale cloud migrations for Jira and Confluence, including assessments and post‑migration optimisation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to performance, security and integrations.
• Collaborate with global engineers, architects and project managers to deliver scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Atlassian administration, development or application support (more for Senior Associates).
• Proven experience implementing ITSM solutions in Jira Service Management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
