Auto Electrician

About the role

The Auto Electrician will join the mining operation at Sukari Gold Mine, supporting both planned and unplanned electrical maintenance on a shift‑by‑shift basis. Working on‑site in Marsa Alam, you will help keep plant equipment safe, reliable and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough equipment inspections, capture defect information and prioritize work based on HSE risk and equipment availability.
• Perform electrical maintenance tasks following risk assessments, safe work procedures, isolation and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Test and commission machinery to verify that faults are corrected and equipment is fit for purpose.
• Complete maintenance paperwork accurately, including PM sheets, inspection records and component tagging.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure spare parts are returned to stock.
• Participate in daily pre‑start meetings, monthly safety meetings and training opportunities.

Required profile

• Formal Certificate in Auto‑Electrical studies (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in automotive, heavy equipment or related electrical maintenance.
