Auto Electrician

About the role

The Auto Electrician will join the mining operation at Sukari, supporting both planned and unplanned electrical maintenance on a shift‑by‑shift basis. Working on‑site in Marsa Alam, you will help keep the plant safe, reliable, and compliant with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough equipment inspections, capture defect information, and prioritize work based on risk to health, safety, environment and equipment availability.
• Execute maintenance tasks only after risk assessments, safe‑work procedures, and permit‑to‑work systems are completed.
• Test and commission machinery, ensuring faults are rectified and equipment is returned to fit‑for‑purpose condition.
• Complete maintenance paperwork accurately, including PM sheets, inspection reports, and component tagging.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and participate in daily pre‑start, monthly safety meetings, and training sessions.

Required profile

• Formal Certificate in Auto‑Electrical studies (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience in automotive, heavy‑equipment, or related electrical maintenance.
