Automation Developer

About the role

As an Automation Developer you will design, develop and maintain intelligent automation solutions that go beyond traditional RPA. The role combines software engineering with Agentic AI to create autonomous agents that can plan, reason and execute complex workflows across enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high‑performing automation workflows, custom Python scripts and AI‑powered agents.
• Develop multi‑step, autonomous AI systems that can reason and adapt to changing business needs.
• Identify high‑value automation opportunities with business stakeholders and integrate solutions with RESTful APIs, databases and cloud platforms.
• Conduct code reviews, root‑cause analysis and continuous optimisation for speed and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements and ethical AI guidelines.
• Mentor junior developers on RPA best practices and introduce Agentic AI concepts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education preferred.
• Minimum B2 level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical AI concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• JavaScript (C# experience is a plus).
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Proficiency in RPA platforms UiPath and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration (ASP.NET Core or Python‑based frameworks).
• Version control with Git.
• Debugging skills in both front‑end (browser dev tools) and back‑end environments (IDE).
• Exposure to cloud services (Azure Functions, Azure App Services, GCP).
