Automation Test Engineer

About the role

Etisalat Egypt’s e& CX Solutions division is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to strengthen its quality assurance capabilities across web, mobile and API platforms. You will work within a fast‑paced, multi‑team environment to design, develop and maintain automated test suites that support continuous integration and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse automation requirements and translate them into reusable test scripts.
• Develop, execute and schedule automated tests on multiple machines or grid environments.
• Generate detailed execution reports and analyse results to identify defects.
• Design and implement reusable functions and libraries for web, mobile and API testing.
• Run bulk test cases in parallel using CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate and troubleshoot software issues in collaboration with QA analysts, manual testers and developers.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Katalon or Selenium for web automation.
• Hands‑on experience using Java and Appium for mobile automation.
• Experience in API test automation.
• Ability to execute large test suites automatically via CI/CD tools.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, SQL and XPATH.
• Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP, XML and JSON protocols.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast‑moving environment.
