AWS Cloud Engineer – Digital Contact Center (Senior Associate)

About the role

PwC is looking for a senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join its Digital Contact Center team in Cairo. The role focuses on designing, implementing and optimizing Amazon Connect solutions for clients across the PwC Global Network.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable and secure Amazon Connect solutions, including call flows, IVR, chatbots and integrations with AWS services and third‑party systems.
• Lead deployment of Amazon Connect projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to client specifications.
• Continuously assess and refine configurations to improve performance, efficiency and customer experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers and development teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
• Develop and maintain documentation for designs, implementation plans and operational procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and PwC security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience with CCaaS platforms such as Avaya and Genesys, and strong knowledge of voice telephony, routing and contact‑center operations.
• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying Amazon Connect solutions and broader AWS cloud architecture.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional; Amazon Connect certifications are a plus.
