AWS Cloud Engineer - Digital Contact Center Team, Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is recruiting an AWS Cloud Engineer (Contact Center Solutions Architect) to join its Cloud practice in Cairo. The role helps customers get the most out of AWS by designing, implementing and optimising Amazon Connect contact centre solutions. The team reports to the Cloud Service Delivery Director and works with colleagues across the global network, including the UK, the Netherlands and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable and secure Amazon Connect solutions covering call flows, IVR, chatbots and integration with other AWS services and third-party systems.
• Lead the deployment of Amazon Connect projects on time and within budget.
• Continuously refine Amazon Connect configurations to improve performance, efficiency and customer experience.
• Work with business stakeholders, project managers and developers to gather requirements and deliver client-specific solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and developers and provide technical guidance.
• Document architectural designs, implementation plans and operational procedures.
• Train internal teams and clients on Amazon Connect.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and PwC's security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven track record of designing and deploying contact centre solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and cloud architecture.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• AWS services, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM and CloudFormation.
• Telephony, VoIP, IVR and contact centre technologies.
• Programming in Python, JavaScript or Node.js.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Zendesk.
• Certification as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional); Amazon Connect certification is a plus.
