AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - Amazon Connect

About the role

PwC's Advisory practice in Cairo is looking for an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement and optimise Amazon Connect contact centre solutions for its clients. The role suits someone with deep AWS expertise, a solid grasp of contact centre operations and the ability to turn complex business needs into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable and secure Amazon Connect solutions covering call flows, IVR, chatbots and integration with other AWS services and third-party systems.
• Lead the deployment of Amazon Connect projects to meet client specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Continuously assess and refine Amazon Connect configurations to improve performance, efficiency and customer experience.
• Work with business stakeholders, project managers and development teams to gather requirements and deliver client-specific solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and developers and provide technical guidance.
• Document architectural designs, implementation plans and operational procedures.
• Train internal teams and clients on using Amazon Connect solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements and PwC's security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience in cloud architecture and AWS services, and hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
• Proven track record of designing and deploying contact centre solutions.
• Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional); additional Amazon Connect certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM and CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of telephony, VoIP, IVR and contact centre technologies.
• Programming in Python, JavaScript or Node.js.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Zendesk and their integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
