About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is looking for a Backend Developer Team Lead to join its team in Alexandria, Egypt. The position is full time and on-site, with a hybrid option of one visit per week preferred.

Required profile

5+ years of professional experience in backend development, software architecture and scalable systems design.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent field.
Proven track record of mentoring and leading teams, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required skills

Python (Django) or other backend technologies such as Node.js or Java.
SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB).
System design, software architecture and microservices architecture.
Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and SaaS, including multi-tenant architectures.
Object-oriented programming and software design patterns; Agile and Jira.
Bonus: Kubernetes, Terraform, Redis or Memcached.
