Bag Designer – Leather Handbags

About the role

We are looking for a talented Bag Designer specialized in leather handbags to join our new collection development project. Working under a defined creative direction, you will contribute your own design ideas from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial bag design sketches aligned with the creative brief.
• Provide design suggestions and refinements throughout the development process.
• Create detailed technical drawings and production‑ready tech packs.
• Define bag structure, proportions, functionality, and finishing details.
• Select appropriate leathers, hardware, and other materials.
• Support sampling, collaborate closely with manufacturers, and oversee prototyping.

Required profile

• Proven experience in handbag or leather bag design.
• Strong understanding of bag construction and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and comprehensive tech packs.
• Experience working with factories or leather workshops is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to execution quality.
