Bar Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead the bar operation at our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. The role combines team leadership, beverage innovation and guest‑experience focus to create a vibrant nightlife atmosphere that reflects the brand’s iconic style.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and develop the bar team, fostering a positive and motivated environment.
• Design and curate creative cocktail menus aligned with the hotel’s concept and current beverage trends.
• Deliver personalized guest service, handle complaints promptly and build lasting relationships with regular patrons.
• Manage bar inventory, coordinate with suppliers, conduct regular stock checks and ensure cost‑effective usage.
• Enforce health, safety and hygiene standards, monitor responsible alcohol service and maintain a clean, safe bar area.
• Drive upselling of premium spirits, cocktails and wines, and introduce themed promotions to boost revenue.
• Oversee daily cash handling, accurate processing of payments and preparation of financial reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a bar team in a hospitality setting.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues swiftly.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to train staff effectively.
• Detail‑oriented mindset for inventory control and cash management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
