Barista / Crew Member – Full‑time Café Role

About the role

Join the Mikel Coffee team in Alexandria as a full‑time Barista/Crew Member. You will be the face of the café, preparing high‑quality coffee and beverages while delivering friendly, efficient service to every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee drinks, as well as other beverages and food items following brand recipes.
• Greet guests, take orders, process payments, and ensure a pleasant customer experience.
• Operate coffee equipment safely, maintain stock levels, and keep the café area clean and organized.
• Support opening and closing procedures, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent service quality.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work fast‑paced shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy and comfort using a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Willingness to learn brand standards and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
