Barista

About the role

Martini, Egypt’s leading beverage consultancy, is looking for a full‑time Barista to join its New Cairo team. You will craft specialty coffee, tea and other beverages while delivering a high‑standard guest experience in a data‑driven hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea and other drinks according to Martini standards.
• Brewing, espresso‑based drink making and related food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Engage with guests, answer menu questions and provide attentive customer service.
• Collaborate with the team, participate in ongoing training and help create a welcoming bar environment.

Required profile

• Strong barista skills, including espresso‑machine operation and familiarity with specialty coffee and tea.
• Solid food‑preparation abilities with focus on hygiene, consistency and safe handling.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude, friendly and professional.
• Clear communication skills for explaining menu items and teamwork.
• Relevant experience in cafés, restaurants or hospitality settings (beneficial).
• Ability to stand for long periods, work flexible shifts and manage peak service times.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling (advantage).
• Food‑safety training or barista certification (plus).
